Cooper Street Correctional Facility recently hosted a One Day with God (ODWG) camp, allowing 32 children between 4 and 17 years old to spend the day with their incarcerated fathers. The kids played games, made crafts, wrote stories, and bonded with their fathers before a balloon release.

The camp's success was made possible by the dedication and hard work of the 59 volunteers from Forgiven Ministry and 14 facility staff. Their tireless efforts ensured the event was successful, providing a memorable day for the children and their fathers.

After the event, the fathers expressed gratitude for the facility staff and ministry volunteers and the opportunity to spend quality time with their children, which helped them renew or maintain their parental bond.

Thank you to all who helped make the ODWG camp successful!

It’s a beautiful feeling to wake up in your purpose💯💯💯 By all accounts, “O-Dog” wasn’t supposed to make it past 21; I was in the juvenile system from 13 yrs old, and in prison by 18th a old, a failure… But I’m failure there is ALWAYS a lesson‼️‼️‼️This morning I woke up to a dm from a brother that said he’d received so much knowledge from me and that I’d affected his life in such a profound way that he’s taken his career to another level and is on his first tour!!!
