I recently was asked what my type is to aid an agent in submitting me, and thought I’d share because I consistently meet talent who submit for everything and anything, not knowing what their brand is. My brand: Over 50 (well over;-) independent, confident woman. The cool aunt. The CEO in the creative world. The youthful-spirited grandmother. The mature woman who believes in maintaining her looks but who doesn’t use fillers/botox, nor believes in diets or exercising profusely. It’s good to know your type/brand, so that you’re not grasping at straws, submitting on roles that aren’t right for you….all those things that can turn what should be fun into a hellish pursuit.
