The Batman Movie Review:
Acting: 9/10 - I would be lying if I said the acting in this film was anything short of compelling and riveting. As these words have similar meanings with differences, so do the hard dialog scenes of this movie. Robert Pattinson delivers a stunning performance as both Bruce Wayne & Batman. Colin Farrell executes his roll so convincingly, you may not realize its him until you check imdb.
In short several actors deliver award worthy performances, and its worth the 3 hour cut out of your day.
Storytelling: 8.5/10 - As a fan of the batman series (yes all of them, even the clooney one) I enjoyed the new aesthetic combined with previous film themes, creating a "multiverse" feeling. It is a 3 hour film, I wish I had a scene I could say was a verified "bathroom break" scene. The closest one I can think of is when they are walking threw the destroyed apartment. Urinator beware, you risk missing valuable action/dialog no matter when.
Visual Effects: 9.2/10 - Not only were the visuals breathtaking, all but one scene is seemingly real, there aren't any "Batman deflected a rocket with his fist" scenes where realism goes out the window, you can even see his hands in bloody wraps when he removes his gloves, showing he is more human than superhero.
Action & Stunt Coord.: 9/10 - There are no lite action scenes in this film. When it's on, it is on 100%. The best "Show of power" sequence since Darth Vader when he appears in Rogue One.
Total Score: 8.9 - This is a MUST SEE, if you haven't yet get your tickets now! If you don't like crowds I recommend waiting as even the matinees were sold out in my area. I openly advise you see this film on any day of the week, it is worth full price tickets. You wont be disappointed if you are at all a fan of batman.
