In addition to his success as a solo artist, Darren has become the ultimate urban jazz hyphenate as an artist / producer following his success in the 2000’s with Wayman Tisdale (which included the #1 hit remake of “Ain’t No Stoppin Us Now”) and behind the scenes as producer, composer, arranger and/or mix engineer for music on five Dave Koz projects (Greatest Hits, Hello Tomorrow, Summer Horns, Gifts Of The Season, and A New Day ).

In 2008-2009, Darren scored three consecutive #1 productions (14 weeks in all) on the Radio & Records smooth jazz chart, holding the top position with Koz, Eric Darius and Tim Bowman. He held the top three chart positions for several weeks and had as many as four songs in the Top Ten at the same time.

Here we go ✈️ Europe for 3 1/2 weeks! I’m thrilled and grateful to be part of the Dave Koz cruise 🚢 and It will be so great to hang and perform along so many amazing artists and musicians! I’m also really looking forward to connect with so many fans and friends!

It will however be the first time I’ll be away from my family for almost a month and we’ll miss each other very much for sure! Good news is Keri will join me for the last week and I promised Lauren and Landon an amazing trip (to the Bahamas) all together when I come back!
