Beth Bahem’s Story - How she found her way to rodeo
Rodeo queening completely changed Beth’s life, and she believes that without it, she wouldn’t be the same person. Being a rodeo queen helped her break out of her shell, taught her to believe in herself, and brought her closer to her faith. “One of the hardest lessons to teach myself when preparing for the Miss Rodeo America pageant was that I was worthy of winning the title. I had done all the work and practiced what I preached, but I wasn’t able to sell myself until I really believed it.” Beth knows that lesson can be applied to so many things in her life and even though it can be hard to do, she now has the tools in place to remind herself that she is worthy of good things and good opportunities. She credits every job she has gotten to her rodeo queen career and skills that she gained from it. She hopes to pass on a message of authenticity and that you do not have to be born in the rodeo world to get a start in it. She believes it does take a lot of discipline and hard work, but you have to start somewhere!

Had a blast and a half at the Montana Legacy Project 2024 photo shoot! It was so fun to connect back with my Montana sash sisters and see all the clothing donations that went out to queen programs across the state! I was so fortunate enough to work with 5 amazing photographers and show off some incredible designers. I was so busy running around getting my picture taken I almost forgot to take pictures myself! I can’t wait to see how the photos turn out.

Joyfully,

PAST THE SASH X LINDSAY GARPESTAD MORSEInstagram Takeover! In 2016 I served as Miss Rodeo Montana. It was an honor of a lifetime, but it came with many struggles. One of those challenges was raising enough funds to pay for both my travel across the nation and the clothing I needed to run for Miss Rodeo America. While traveling the nation, I
learned that many programs had what they called traveling wardrobes. The concept was knew to me, yet fascinating. Most rodeo queens are required to raise funds to purchase the clothing necessary to compete at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant or their state level pageants.
Traditionally, girls use sponsor fund to purchase the clothing and then sell the clothing at the end of the year where they get to keep the proceeds of the sale. I did not have a problem with the concept, but I felt for sponsors who do not have a personal connection to the ambassador, their funds could be used to help more young women if the clothing purchased was simply handed down to the next ambassador at no cost. I have never discouraged individuals or businesses from supporting individual titleholders, but for many of us who were brought into the industry it makes more sense that our funds are used to help more than the one individual.
Combining the concept of the traveling wardrobe and maximizing the use of sponsor funds gave rise to the first Montana Legacy Project donation. In 2017, we partnered with Kristi Q Designs and AB Western Designs out of Utah.
We donated a shirt, vest, and jacket to the Miss Rodeo Montana where it is still being worn today. As the concept started to become popular amongst the former queens of Montana, I realized I needed help. What a blessing that help became. I decided to add two of my dear friends and former rodeo queens to the board in 2020 and we decided to file for non - profit status. Melody Eash and
Kayla Seaman joined the team and the rest is history.

Remembering their courage, honor and bravery, today and every day. ❤️Memorial Day

27/05/2024

As many look at today as just another day off, let’s not forget the real reason for Memorial Day.

Today we Honor and Mourn the Men and Women of the United States Armed Forces who never made it out of uniform. The ones that returned home covered in the American Flag. Those who left behind families and loved ones. These men and women gave the ultimate sacrifice for you to be able to have the freedom to live the life you do today. So to those brave men and women, THANK YOU for your service to our country, may we never forget your bravery and sacrifices to our country!
With the utmost respect and gratitude,
National Miss Agriculture America Spokesmodel- Brittany Andersen🤍🇺🇸
