In this edition, MobbJustice reviews the Acer Chromebook Spin 311. This is a convertible device that can be used as a laptop or tablet. We look at how the device can be used on a daily basis for productivity, media consumption and other uses.

Chromebook's are notebook computers running Google's Chrome OS (operating system). The targeted audience of ChromeOS has tended to be the education market, particularly high school and college students.

In March Apple announced its most powerful desktop computer to date - the Mac Studio.

In this edition, we react to Apple’s latest product announcements. The company held it's first keynote for the year announcing changes to the iPhone and iPad line-up, updates to Apple TV+, a new chip in the form of the M1 Ultra, a new desktop computer - the Mac Studio, and a new desktop display - the Studio Display.

Samsung held its first Galaxy Unpacked event for 2022, releasing the new S22 range of devices, back in February.

If you’re looking for a simple and effective speech to text app, then the Google Recorder might be what you’re looking for.

In this edition, we detail the utility of Google’s voice recording app, made for its Pixel line of phones. Using Google’s artificial intelligence and speech recognition technology, the app can turn spoken word into text with a high degree of accuracy. Though not available on the Play Store, APK files are available online for Android users. Unfortunately, the app is currently not available for iOS.

We also highlight similar functionality through the stock recording apps on iOS and Samsung devices.

Apple has reversed its stance on allowing customers the ability to fix and repair their own devices, starting with the iPhone 12 and 13.

Customers have typically been confined to fixing broken devices through Apple own repair services or network of accredited repair operators, or risk voiding their warranties.
