H8URS [Eight – Hours], is an online platform hosting over 5,000 curated video essays on film and television, covering everything from film history and analysis to the technical aspects of film making.
We believe video essays have tremendous value, but they often get lost on other platforms.By organizing videos by categories like screenwriting, filmmaking, & genre, our goal is to make them easier to find, based on viewers’ interests. We also aim to showcase the work of new creators and creators who haven’t yet managed to breakthrough on other sites.
8hours is updated regularly, featuring a rotation of new videos and staff picks every day. Visitors are encouraged to explore the new website and sign up for the 8hours mailing list to receive weekly updates about new videos.
