New Year is here : Navreh, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Cheti Chand ..... As per the Hindu calendar, Navreh is the first day of Navratri, a period of 9 days and nights in the worship of Ma (Mother) Durga (literally means remover of the miseries of life), Ma Lakshmi (wealth and prosperity) and Ma Saraswati (knowledge and wisdom). Think about it: The New Year as per the Hindu calendar begins with prayer, fasting, sacrifice, honesty and purity. Have a good year folks and a good life.
