Sequel to extensive consultations and robust deliberations between the palace and relevant stakeholders ensuring a balanced blend of the wisdom of the elders with the fresh perspectives of the younger generation needed for a more advanced and well-rounded community, embracing the knowledge and experiences of different age groups capable of paving the way for progress and innovation, the Ooni of Ife, Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, driven by the spirit collectivity mantra: OMODE GBON AGBA GBON L'A FI DA'LE IFE, above well elucidated, hereby official announcement of realignments and reconstitutions of the belowlisted institutions saddled with the responsibilities of repositioning the community for desirable advancement:

IFE DEVELOPMENT BOARD (IDB)
The reconstituted 33 member Ife Development Board (IDB) which now has a past president of Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), former Managing Editor/CEO of Vanguard Newspapers and current Provost of Nigeria Institute of Journalism(NIJ), Mr. GBENGA ADEFAYE, a seasoned journalist and adminintrator who has a tremendous network of influence with major stakeholders across as it's new President, to be supported by a Media Relation strategist who former Governor Ajimobi's SA on Media and Strategy, Dr. Yomi Layinka as 1st Vice President and former Chief Press Secretary to the then Governor Bola Tinubu of Lagos State and former Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA in Lagos who later served as Governor Ambode's Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan as 2nd Vice-president while the Human Resources Expert and former General Manager of Lagos Airport Hotel, Lagos will serve as IDB's Secretary General. Also, a number of other distinguished Ifes sons and daughters a, home and abroad(below listed) have been carefully selected to reinvent IDB as an organisation with focus on developmental issues concerning Ife following the dissolution of the erstwhile board.

IFE BOARD OF TRUSTEES (IBoT)
In the same vein, an eleven member Ife Board of Trustees (IBoT) comprising the elders has been constituted to serve in advisory capacity among others to the new IDB and the entire community providing guidance for the smooth coordination of our dear cradle city of Ile-Ife. The Board of Trustees of Ife Development Board parades influential personalities like the Chairman of JKN Group and past President of NACCIMA, Chief Agboola Odeyemi, a former Deputy Governor of OSUN state and immediate Past National Secretary of the ruling APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore, an international business guru and a quiet great philanthropist, Prince Eludipo Elusanmi Eludoyin fondly called OOSA, a grassroot political mathematician and former National Secretary of the PDP, Professor Wale Oladipo among others will be led by the Nigeria's business magnate and Asiwaju of Ife Kingdom, Chief Alex Adekunle Duduyemi.

IFE TRUST FUND (ITF)
The Ife Trust Fund (ITF) which will be chaired by a seasoned Projects Finance, Environmental and Company Law Expert of 30 years experience, Mr. Soji Awogbade has equally been restructured to comprise additional eighteen Ife sons and daughters including the immediate MD/CEO of ECOBANK Plc, Mr. Patrick Akinwuntan, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole SAN, an erudite Professor of Tax, Professor BIOLA Sanni SAN, an intellectual property legal luminary, Professor Bambo Adewopo SAN, former Lagos State legislator, twice member of the Nigerian Senate and immediate Past Presidential Advisor on NASS, an Ibadan based successful publisher cm business wizard Chief Sunday Obiyinka and a host of others who will be able to support the developmental yearnings and aspirations of the city of Ile-Ife.

The new Ife leadership arrangement is to bring all stakeholders together; "OMODE GBON AGBA GBON LA FI DA'LE IFE"to enable them work together in the best interest of all and the community. This synchronization of elders' and younger generation's wisdom can positively impact the community in several ways including but not limited to Intergenerational knowledge transfer, collaborative problem-solving, cultural preservation and innovation, mentorship and guidance, community cohesion and understanding, preservation of history and legacy, empowerment and leadership development, strengthening community bonds and so on. By synchronizing their wisdom, elders and younger generations can create a powerful synergy, enriching the community with a rich tapestry of knowledge, experience, and innovation.

In a bold move towards progress and growth, Ile-Ife under Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II has embarked on a transformative journey to redefine and reposition itself for a promising future. OONI APPOINTS AWORENI AS NEW JAGUNOSINI OF IFE

After due diligence and necessary consultations with members of Ooni-in-Council and relevant stakeholders, the Ooni of Ife, Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II has approved the appointment of Otunba Collins Kayode Aworeni as the new Jagunosin of Ife.

The approval was made on Tuesday following the interment on Saturday climaxing the all traditional burial rites for the immediate past Jagunosin, late Highchief Johnson Akindoyin
who died last year year at the age of 87.

Born in April 1976 at Ibadan, Oyo state, the Jagunosin designate hails from Jagudu compound in Ile-Ife. He attended INRI Nursery School, Onireke in Ibadan, Central Primary School, Ilare, Ile-Ife, St. John's Grammar School, Oke-Atan, Ile-Ife and graduated from the Ibadan Polytechnic in 2005 with HND certificate in Mass Communication.

Blessed with a wife and three children, Aworeni is a successful business man runs hotel, hospitality, automobile and agro allied businesses in Ile-Ife, Ibadan, Lagos and Abuja.

Jagunosin, a prominent cabinet member of the Ooni -in-Council and one of the kingmakers of Ile-Ife is among the eight member Obalufe led AGBA-IFE on the right hand side of the OONI.

OONI PARTNERS GOVERNMENT OWNED CHINESE FIRM TO GENERATE 50,000 EMPLOYMENTS

The Ooni Of Ife, Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has unveiled a Private Public Partnership Community Development plan to create 50,000 jobs for Nigerian youths, saying governments all over the the world can transform economy successfully without a productive public private partnership..

Ooni Ogunwusi who in company of the executive governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke
signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with a government owned chinese company
officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a government owned Chinese company at his Ile Oodua palace in Ile-Ife yesterday said the company will invest in Agriculture, Green Energy and explore the gold, lithium and other minerals resources in Ile-Ife and Osun at large.

The great Pan-African king said the
Chinese Company; China Overseas Energy Development Technology Limited
will focus on the development of agriculture, mechanised farming, cocoa processing in large quantity, stating that solar energy, exploration of lithium, gold, liquidified natural gas and other major mineral resources would be part of their goals.

He added that the company is the biggest in Dubai, China, Asia and in the whole world, with branches in more than 50 countries and 200 cities all over the world, promising that signing of the MoU will help Ile-Ife, Osun and Nigeria's citizenry unprecedented investment flow, expressing his confidence in Chinese Company that they would not disappoint with the funding coming from them with their several billions of dollars.

"The partnership we are signing today with China Overseas Technology Development Company Limited is going to give over 50,000 employment opportunities to Osun indigenes.

"These people would first invest in agriculture whereby they would set up a cocoa proceeding plant in Ife where they are going to have their agricultural hub.

"They will farm on over 20,000 hectares of land, generate green energy using solar which is starting from this palace, this palace will be powered by solar 100 % within the next 30 to 60 days when it's already completed". Ooni stated.

According to the monarch, the future of Nigeria oil and gas lies in lithium, adding that soonest, oil and gas would go down and lithium would be the only assistance to power battery, electric cars and ceiling among others.

He added that partnership with the Chinese Company will be both Community and Public Private Partnership driven which in long run would help the economy at the community levels to be emancipated with an emphasis that the investment would be on a large scale both for Osun and the Federal Government level, adding that Chinese company is the best producer of Liquidified Natural Gas, (LNG) in the whole of China, called for the support of all and sundry.

"In Dubai alone, the Chinese Company have investment more than 10 billion dollars. In South Sudan right now, they are investing over 4 billion dollars. They are now ready to invest the double in Nigeria". He ascertained.

In the same vein, Gov Ademola Adeleke, welcomed the foreign investors, lauded Ooni for his initiative to concede the idea and bring it to reality.

Adeleke commended the Management of the Chinese company for yielding and agreeing to invest heavily in Ile-Ife and Osun at large.

He, however, restated his commitment to continuity to promote culture, tourism and entertainment in Osun to improve on the wellbeing of the indigenes.

In his remark, after signing the MoU, the representative, Mr Zhang Xiaolin, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer,China Oversea Energy Development Ltd, congratulated Ooni on the celebration of Olojo 2023.

Xiaolin also applauded Ooni for partnering with their biggest company that set to invest in agriculture, green energy, mining among other mineral resources.

Currently investing 11 billion dollars in South Sudan,
Chinese Company; China Overseas Energy Development Technology Limited are the owners of the recently constructed DRAGON MART; the largest Chinese market in Dubai and the world which is a Mega Mall City to be replicated here in Nigeria.

OLOJO FESTIVAL 2023: OONI BEGINS A 7-DAY SECLUSION, BACKS TINUBU ON PAN-AFRICANISM, PRAYS FOR ECONOMIC RECOVERY IN NIGERIA.

Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, on Sunday kick started this this year's annual Olojo Festival celebrations by embarking on a 7-day spiritual seclusion in which he will be seeking the face of Almighty God(Olodumare) and ancestors of the land for the recovery of Nigeria's economy and unity of the African people for prosperity.

The great Pan-African king who spoke to the press shortly before escorted on a procession to the 'ILE MOLE' ancient cult chamber located on Iremo road in Ile-Ife commended President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria over his sterling Pan-African speech recently during 78th UN General Assembly in the USA quoting him as saying "To the rest of the world, I say walk with us as true friends and partners. Africa is not a problem to be avoided nor is it to be pitied. Africa is nothing less than the key to the world’s future."

Ooni called on the entire African continent people worldwide to unite and be peaceful for the development and desired economic liberation. He urged relevant stakeholders in Africa to prioritize the unity of the African continent, saying pan Africanism is non-negotiable.

"President Bola Tinubu spoke very creditably well as a true Pan-African leader during the 78 edition of the UN General Assembl. I also respect Presidents Yoweri Museveni and William Ruto of Uganda and Kenya respectively for always consistently standing for Africa. I have met with them and we have always discussed Africa development.

"For the past 8 years that I been on the throne of Oduduwa, anytime I go into seclusion, there is nothing I ask the ancestors that doesn't come into fulfillment. Therefore, I can rest assured that this time around, the actualization of Pan-Africanism will come to reality. "Ooni said.

Ooni who lamented the suffering and hardship in Nigeria said there is a need for the ancestors to step in so that the administration of President Tinubu, will be the renewed hope in terms of friendly economic palliatives for the poor masses, good roads, uninterrupted power supply, affordable education, employment opportunities, and above all, actualization of the ideological oneness that all sundry in Africa have been hoping for.

He charged government at all levels to be more sensitive to the plight of the people, also urging all and sundry to support the president so as to move the nation forward for stable national security and economic advancement.

"I will pray for the unity of Africa. Things are very hard. We all know the economic challenges that people are facing.

"The issue of restiveness of our youths would not go beyond control, before this are sensitive issues that we need to address before it goes out of hand.

"My prayer also would be to pray for divine intervention for the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to turn things right because expectations of people are so high", Ooni stated

The Natural Head of the Oduduwa race worldwide who doubles as Co-chairman, National Council Of Traditional Rulers Of Nigeria (NCTRN) praised President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil for his love for Africa saying the large turnout of the Afro-Brasilians and other diaspora Africans is an attestation that Olojo festival.is indeed a rallying point for connecting the Africans together.

Ooni Ogunwusi who was earlier this year hosted by the Brazilian President to unveil the African Religion ISESE Day in Brasilia, Brazil has also been hosted in recognition of his Pan-African initiative by several African leaders like President John Mahama of Ghana and King of Kumasi, Asantene Osei Tutu in 2016, President Ruto of Kenya in March this year and President Museveni of Uganda barely a month ago.

OONI'S WIFE, QUEEN RONKE ORGANISES AFRICA FASHION WEEK BRAZIL

---Leads Delegations From Nigeria, Ghana, London, Paris Others To Sao Paolo, Brazil.-

As part of the efforts to promote African cultural heritage through Adire fabrics, the amiable wife of the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Her Majesty, Queen Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi has concluded arrangements to organize the first edition of Africa Fashion Week Brazil.

Queen Aderonke who is a leading voice in the promotion of the African textile and Garment industry partnered with Businesswoman Silvana Saraiva Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and CEO of FeaFro institute in Brazil to host the 1st of its Kind Afro Brazilian fashion festival in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

The founder of Africa fashion week London, Africa fashion week Nigeria and CEO Adire Oodua Textile Training Hub, Vice Chairman, House of Oduduwa Foundation and the Co founder Africa Fashion Week Brazil in a statement has a mission to preserve, share and protect African textile legacies.

According to the Queen, designers from Ghana, London, Paris and Nigerian will have opportunity of showcasing the richness of African culture through fashion in Brazil.

The Chief Executive Officer of Adire Oodua Textile Training Hub said that the first of its kind Africa Fashion Week Brazil which commences on May 25, 2023 at Sao Paolo, Brazil has
Providus Bank as the enterprise sponsors for the event.

She further explained that the event will open opportunity for the convergence of African and Afro Brazilians designers with the aim of promoting trade and investment in the creative industry adding that the event will feature industry innovation workshops, B2B and B2C, export and import channels.

Heading the delegation of Nigerian designers according to the Queen is Ejiro Amos Tafiri a creative power house and one of the most sustainable fast grown brands in Africa.

"Our very own adire fabric is going to take center stage at Africa fashion week Brazil with brands like Adire teems, Wuraola4lar, Fashion By Ashani, Pillz n Poizn showcasing the richness of the Ooni of ifes Adire Oodua Textiles.

"Africa fashion week Brazil is part of Africa Fashion Week London and Nigeria. The event which opens on the 25th of May celebrating Africa day is going to bring together African and Afro Brazilians designers with the aim of promoting trade and investment in the creative industry. The event will feature industry innovation workshops, B2B and B2C, export and import channels."

Meanwhile, the African foremost king, Ooni Ogunwusi who has been the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Africa fashion week brand for nearly a decade experessed delight over this new feather being added to the African fashion week brand as Nigeria and Brazil are the most populous Black Nations in the world.

Ooni said event of this nature will expose Nigerian designers to a brand new audience and Brazilians are in love with everything that has to do with the Yoruba culture.

Recalls that Queen Ronke has showcased over 2000 African brands to a global audience, since she started her Africa Fashion Week London in 2011.

The Ooni who doubles as Co-chairman National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria NCTRN in company of his two wives Queen Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi and Queen Mariam Anako Ogunwusi had earlier this year taken his PanAfrican Cultural, Unity and Business Initiatives to Brazil where he was hosted by the country's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
