The Hennepin County Medical Examiner revealed Monday that 43-year-old Michael Chang-Beom Lee died from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Such a great accomplishment as I'm sure most if not all has heard about Suni's Gold!!!

just simply amazing and such a surreal story from the her family not too long ago from escaping the mountains of southeast Asia to now world wide Olympic gold world champion!

not of the elitist, rich, and powerful but from the struggles of what most of us hmong people have seen, live and endure and to this outcome is just simply beyond amazing!

I'm sure the path their family has taken to now was no walk in the park but the payout is finally here!!

congrats to Suni! and for her family especially her parents for the strength, courage, timeless travels and nights and days of questions unsure of the sacrifices and wandering into this great unknown!!!

A message from the Hastings Police Department:
At approximately 3:25 this morning, Officers were dispatched to the area of Lincoln Ln and Pleasant Dr regarding suspicious persons tampering with motor vehicles. While checking the area officers could hear power tools and believe a catalytic converter theft was taking place.

Officers observed a white SUV leave the area and noted a catalytic converter had been removed from a vehicle parked nearby. In searching the area the white SUV was located and stopped. As officers investigated they observed power tools and a catalytic converter in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. As a result, Blong Vang age 29, Pon Vang age 33, and Mai Yang age 39 of St Paul were arrested for Felony theft.

The Hastings Police Department wishes to thank the residents that called to report these suspicious acts. Working together and sharing real-time information was key in bringing this incident to a safe resolution and may have prevented further criminal activity.
