I bought a bunch of skincare and makeup products last year, and I'm just now getting around to unboxing them. 🤪

While skincare is a non-negotiable for me (gotta keep that glow going!), I tend to be more selective with makeup. Since brands often send me products, I usually only buy makeup that falls into three categories (yes, i-jujustify talaga natin ang paggastos 😭😂):

New and Exciting: If it's something completely new to my collection, I might splurge!
Sale Steals: Who can resist a good deal? If a staple product I love goes on a huge sale, I might stock up.
Repurchase Favorites: Sometimes, you just gotta replace your ride-or-die makeup essentials.
Basically, I'm all about budget-friendly beauty and avoiding unnecessary spending.

I'm so excited to finally play with these new goodies and hopefully create some fun content with them in the future! 🥹💗

COLOURETTE COLOURBOUNCE - A Jelly-to-Powder Blush 🍑🍮

These blushes come in 3 finishes - matte, shimmer, and glitter. Here are my thoughts:

* I love how Colourette finally came up with a formula that’s very unique and new to the local makeup community.
* As for my experience, the opacity of the product varies across the shades. The matte and shimmer variants have a sheer to buildable
formula, while the glitter variant has a more pigmented formula
* The formula of this product is very new and different from all the other blushes I’ve tried before. It was challenging at first, but I enjoyed figuring out how to apply it to my skin.
* With its unique texture, it applies smoothly and blends easily onto my face.
* Once blended out, it sets to a natural, matte finish. It doesn’t disturb my base makeup. I was also surprised that I can apply it on top of my powder, and my makeup stayed put!
* I also noticed that you have to use the glitter variant cautiously because it can emphasize texture on your face.
* I prefer applying it with my fingers, as it creates a more natural look. But you can still use a blending brush and a sponge to apply it on your skin!
* As a combination-skin girl, I’m amazed by how long it lasted on my skin – 7-8 hours! Considering the weather we have here in the Philippines, that’s impressive. Usually, my blush doesn’t last that long, even with setting spray.
* For my recommendation, I wish they would release more shades, especially matte variants in more vibrant and saturated colors.

Overall, trying these blushes was a fantastic experience! Huge thanks to Colourette Cosmetics for releasing such an innovative product! Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new blush formula. 🙌🏻
