Good morning! Tunes 'Til Two is tickling our musical fancies as we speak! Um, type. Well, I mean YOU are reading. Writing is hard.
Anywho, in case you didn't our post from Friday, today is the last official day of operation for this version of The Little Engine That Will. (After a new Dead, Jail, or Rock and Roll at 4:00, Rex might fill the time until the server goes night-night with some cool random stuff.)
Over the next [insert timeframe here], we'll be making several critical adjustments that we trust will position this project to be successful and sustainable.
Again, no mega post today - just our thanks, and an invitation to hang around until they flip the breaker on the server!

Hi there! Rex here, with a quick but important announcement with a silly GIF and a preface that THIS IS NOT BAD NEWS.

This Sunday will be the final day of operation for RFJ. It is NOT, however, the end of Rex's Internet Radio Venture, featuring Sam and Paul and Steve and Eric and Zuga and Lucy Isadora and Randy and Abunchofothercoolpeople. (SUPER DUPER THANKS, BTW!)

Long story short, it is an understatement to say that things have changed quite a bit since I first decided to have a go at a full-time side-hustle labor-of-love. It is time to reorganize this project in order for it to be sustainable and to have the level of impact I know is possible.

Seriously, this is the short version. More details to come, but for now, know that Tunes 'Til Two from this past Sunday is coming your way at 8:00 AM Saturday morning.

One more thing - A heartfelt thanks to everyone who has made this phase of the project financially and emotionally possible.

First of all: You guys are awesome. Lily’s Fall Vibe episode from last week has been charting on the MixCloud. She is motivated, excited, and can’t wait to share her mixes with you in the future!
Second: Today is a brand new episode entitled Awash In A Deep New Wave. We are revisiting the eighties once again, but different from what I’ve done in the past. I think you’ll enjoy it. So much had to be left on the cutting room floor (some for time, some for legal reasons), but I had such a great time catching up with the front man of Hub City Slim and the Pine Street Playboys.
