THE THREE GREATEST MISTAKES OF ADAM: A LESSON FOR ALL AS EXTRACTED FROM GENESIS 3:7-12.

1) He tried to cover their sins in his own way.(vs 7). This is contrary to Prov. 28:13a
How do you cover your mistakes and sin, in your own way or do you allow God to do it in His own way?

2) He tried to hide from God Almighty. (vs 8,10).
Do you hide yourself when you sin against God, or do you come bodly to His throne of mercy for forgiveness? If legion (demons) can negotiate their term of freedom with Jesus (Mark. 5:8-13), how much more you that He created in His own image. He is waiting for you at the mercy seat for a divine meeting to reason with you. (Isaiah. 1:18). Do not keep Him waiting for long.

3) He had no remorse for his sin. (vs 12).
Do you recognise yourself as a sinner who needs God's mercy or as a saint who has never sinned or who can not sin? Chie, you are deceiving yourself and a liar. (1John. 1:8,9). For all are sinners (Rom. 3:23). It is not of him that wills or runs(claims to be righteous/holy or careful in actions and spoken words) but by the mercy of God. (Rom. 9:16).
So do not try to repeat Adam's mistakes, they kills.

GOD'S CHARACTER CHECK UP. (GEN.18:21)

Most people normally visit hospitals for health check up. As a result of the check up, some will be diagnosed of different health imbalance diseases capable of affecting their life spans.

If God should conduct a character check up on you, what do you think will be your own diagnosis?

The people of S***m and Gomorrah never knew such would happen to them they way it did because they were diagnosed of evil characters that destroyed human standard of living, the result was destruction of the entire cities.

NUGGET OF TRUTH.

THE MARKET PLACE.
The earth is like a market where activities of buying and selling are done (business area).

Biblically, the earth as a synonym of a market place has the following characteristics;
1) It is a place of exchange of destinies and lives.
2) It is a place of trouble, judgement and humiliation.
3) It is a place of loss of identities, vision and mission.
4) It is the place of evil recruitment.
5) It is a place of exposure of both good and bad things.
6) It is a place of pollution of characters and personalities.
7) It is a place of change of position.
8) It is a place of destruction.
9) It is a place of condemnation.
10) It is a place of loss of virtues.

Nevertheless, you can overcome all these only in Christ Jesus alone.

(John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world).

NUGGET OF LIFE.

Psalm.118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

So interesting that the above verse is the centre of the Bible.
It shows that you must not trust solely on anyone for help except in God.
The help or assistance of people are limited.

When you have confidence on the help of people, they will want to misuse you, they will want you to bow to them always, they will want you to be their slave.
The day you decide to disobey any of their orders hmmmm, you will become a big rebel, an ungrateful person etc. Failures will become their best wishes for you so that they can see something to laugh at.

Stop allowing people to take advantage of your life by solely depending on them for help.
May those waiting for evidence to laugh at you this year wait in vain. May God give them the garment of weariness and keep them busy with problems

God's words in your mouth are meant for the following specific reasons according to Jer.1:10;
1) To Uproot
2) To Pull down
3) To Destroy
4) To Remove (overthrow)
5) To Build
6) To Plant.

One among most things the devil hates is when you engage him with God's words.
