With the Trekzone Media Awards for Fan Films less than a week away, here's a reminder of some of the awards Potemkin Pictures is up for:

David Eversole and his brother, the late Homer William Eversole, have been nominated for BEST STORY for Starship Deimos' "Dream Time."

Sarah Hugs Holton has been nominated for BEST ACTRESS for Starship Caliborn's "Empyrean."

Jordan Consalvi has been nominated for BEST ACTOR for his work in Starship Webster's "Where Monsters Dwell."

At the half-way point of the year, I've done the semi-annual paperwork.

All actors' releases have been amended into the proper spreadsheet and stored in the Potemkin Pictures Personal Releases notebook. There are presently 248 actors who have worked with us over the years, all of whom for which we are eternally grateful. Without these actors, there's no way we could produce our fan films for everyone to enjoy.

I spent three hours last night creating IMDB listings for the latest four Potemkin Pictures releases: Starship Webster's "Artifacts" and "Periphery," Starship Caliborn's "Formication" and Starship Deimos' "Sleeping Dragon." These are four of the best films we've produced! I also updated the Potemkin Pictures Releases spreadsheet to include those four releases, bringing our total to 117 fan films since 2010.

I spent June 30th tabulating the number of views our fan films have had: 1,290,183 views from YouTube, Vimeo, downloads from our Mirror Sites, and views from our Portuguese Mirrors. That's roughly 11,027 average views per production, totaling 21 hrs 30 mins 13 secs of viewing.

We currently have seven active productions: Webster 4x per year, Caliborn 2x per year, Deimos 2x per year, Tristan 1x per year, Potemkin 1x per year, Qab'elth 1x per year, and our newest production Sagittarius has shot one production this year.

We have four films in post-production: Potemkin's "The Polyphemus Program," Deimos' "Slingshot," Tristan's "The Night Shift" and Sagittarius' "Assault on PAX 12." We have two films shooting this month: Webster's "Thicker Than Blood" and Caliborn's "The Plain Sight." That should give us ten releases in 2024.

Studio-wise, the bridge is just about perfect. We may add a ceiling to it in the coming year, but for the most part, it's a fantastic set. We have the briefing room, sickbay, and transporter room available. We have a full-sized shuttlecoupe of which we're quite fond. And we have a Klingon bridge that's undergoing a facelift this summer.

Lastly, I have to do the laundry of the uniforms and some costumes used in the Sagittarius shoot, plus a makeup table that I need to go clean for tomorrow's Webster shoot.
