Our story, in progress...

As a video gamer, I have been playing video games since the days of pong. We had an Atari 2600, a Commodore Vic-20, and a Commodore 64 at various points growing up. Now, I primarily play on PC but I do dabble in the occasional console game. I started going by Bug Out in the online games of the day back in the late 90's and that is what I have been going by ever since. I played Tribes and Tribes 2 for a long time, I have been playing GW1 since just after it came out and I have been playing GW2 since the the beta weekends. Currently I try to find a balance between GW2, The Division 2, and FFXV. At this point in my life, I am sticking with MMO’s, co-op shooters and traditional RPG’s. I’m also a table top gamer. I have been playing table top RPGs since getting the red box D&D set in 1981.

Growing up during the early MTV era (you know, back when they played videos) I became fascinated with the new music and videos they were playing. It was very much different from the music that was playing on the stations that I grew up listening to and I was hooked.

I was listening to Runa’s show, When Music and a Gamer Unite, one Sunday evening and started thinking what I would play if I was hosting a show... And it hit me, I would just concentrate on what I knew best, Classic Alternative. The stuff I listened to ( and watched) on the early days of MTV. The music my friends and I listened to driving around on a Friday or Saturday night looking for something to do. I applied on the website and somehow here I am and deviant bugthought was born. 3 hours of Classic Alternative, Fridays, 7 - 10 PM Central time.
