Did you know that students involved in journalism get significant scholarships, do better in college, and earn a name for themselves, all the while covering real topics for real audiences and gaining real world skills?
Well... The Talon Journalism program is looking for creative, innovative, and talented individuals to join our news team and there are TWO opportunities to do so. Journalism offers journalistic writing experiences such as: news, sports, opinion, features, entertainment, survey polls, infographics, photography, design, podcasts, broadcasts, print and digital media, etc. You might even get published! Advanced Journalism is the student-run publications course that produces The Talon journalism content.
Come to Mrs. Hansen’s room (room 2413) after school on Tuesday, Nov. 7 to share the fun and exciting opportunities available in the world of journalism, and consider sharing your talents with us! Can’t attend? Stop by anytime or email Hansen.
