Todd Kiessling - DYSTOPIA

If you want to check in on Todd you can find him in Long Beach at Headhunters Smokeshop, a 30+ year establishment in the Belmont Heights neighborhood. Todd took over the shop a few years back and has been transforming it into a catch all shop for cool s**t! Classic Smokeshop s**t like bongs and glass pipes along side sick punk records and t-shirts. Some sick ones here! I am in search of more flyers and Inepsy ephemera. If you’ve got flyers, pics, sick bootlegs or whatever type of cool Inepsy s**t that’s out there, I would appreciate it!

City⚡️Weapons goes into production this week and I expect it to be out in April! If you haven’t snagged your copy of the 7” or RNR Babylon yet, what’s up? Running low on the first press but check it out, Tankcrimes reissues are not limited. I will keep these records in print, readily available and affordable as long as there is demand.

Sick INEPSY custom leather by !

We’ve been thrilled at the response to our partnership with Inepsy. I just ran out of the copies I had here for direct wholesale though stores and distros should be well stocked. If you see a copy in the wild be sure to snag it. Don’t worry we will repress. My intentions with our reissues is to make them affordable and readily available and Inepsy has trusted me to do just that. City Weapons will go into production as soon as the industry opens back up in January.

For the collectors: there’s just 16 copies remaining in stock of this RNR Babylon multicolored splatter LP pictured in slide 2. If that’s your game time to pull the trigger on your copy, they won’t last long.

Some of you may know that part of the Tankcrimes lore is that Major League Baseball Hall of Famer and local Oakland hero / legend Rickey Henderson was the landlord of TCHQ Oakland for 20 years. One million bands crashed there but only a few got the rare Rickey sighting. We had more access to Rickey than most of his many tenants in Oakland because our close friends and next door neighbors are part of the Henderson extended family, the first people I reached out to when the news came in yesterday.

He did not pass out photos and autographs, he still got paid for that kinda stuff but this photo here from 2012 Rickey agreed to because it was on business. I had told him the editor of America’s best and only monthly metal magazine, Decibel, was a massive fan. This was the first time a TC affiliated band had landed on the cover and I wanted a pic to schmooze with. (It worked, I’ve got the editor on my speed dial now, hi Albert!)

Another story friends have always liked is that Rickey would mow our lawn sometimes, he had an Escalade with the little open cab in the back just big enough for a push lawn mower. Looking down from our front window you couldn’t help but notice his beautiful chunky pro athlete $$ watch blinging in the sun.

There was a time around 2015 when the property manager who worked for Rickey (and was his family) wanted to kick us out of the house (we partied, ran businesses, grew pot, stayed up late, hosted bands, it was a punk house for 2 decades) and Rickey himself got involved and we were out front yelling (I am loud, he is loud) all the neighbors were peering out of their windows and Rickey listened to me and sided with me. We renewed our lease on the spot. I moved out 2022 but Marky and a lot of Tankcrimes stuff stayed till we finally closed the lease earlier this year.

Very sad to hear of his passing, he is a fu***ng legend in Oakland and around the world. Grieving today with his friends, fans and family. You can count me as one of those.

RIP Rickey Henderson, legend.

Hello Facebook! I have not had access to this page for 2 years, all posts have just been reposts from our IG page and I haven’t been able to respond to any comments at all. Something I like to do. It’s been an incredible year for NECROT! 2025 kicking off proper with a massive tour supporting CAVALERA! Homies Dead Heat also on the bill!

Repress of “Lifeless Birth” vinyl available now, the band will have their own exclusive variant on this tour.

Necrot played 100 shows this year across North America and Europe. Did a cover story with Decibel! Crushed the Billboard charts. Hitting a ton of big year end lists. Ready for 2025!

Big shoutout to Cavalera bros! Thanks for the invite, everyone is stoked on this tour! To all the fans who picked up a copy of the album, hit up a live show, rocked a t-shirt, pushed play on a track, thank you all so much!

As we bid farewell to 2023 it’s important to me that everyone that has supported us knows how much I appreciate it.
