Came across this post from a Less Lethal weapons group Iām apart of. Hereās what a kinetic round would do from a Less Lethal Self Protection Device to a persons face. Take into account the round went through a paintball mask first before actually making contact with the face. And also the distance, the round used and the placement of that round also matters in regards to the amount of damage it could do. Something to consider when using a less lethal weapon to defend oneself.

On Monday, June 3rd around 10:30 a.m., CC Sheffield said she was walking on Diamond Head Road by the lighthouse and took the path down to the beach. āA beautiful breathtaking walk, where you feel like all contemplative and whatever. Meanwhile, Iām like being stalked like an animal,ā she saidā¦As Iāve mentioned many of times when incidents like this happen we are usually our own first responder. There was no one there to save her from this traumatic experience. Luckily the attacker let her go and didnāt continue with his sexual assault. Guys we live in a different world, a different Hawaii, things are not the same. We are living in a violent and unpredictable time. We need to be prepared as much as possible so when the time comes we are ready to respond to a threat. Arm yourselves with a weapon and take a self defense class. Your future self will thank you for it when a threat comes your way. Be safe guysš¤š½

Good morning yāall. Just wanted to share a quick story of a friend of mine who was totally against carrying a self protection device. Two days ago, she reached out to me telling me that her friend was assaulted and now wants to pick up a few Less Lethal Self Protection devices for herself, and a couple of her friends, including the one that was attacked. The video is about five minutes long. I tried to keep it really short, but if you have a moment, take a listen. An effective self-protection device for maintaining distance in a combative situation is key to preventing injury. It can be carried discreetly and quickly deployed to create distance between you and an attacker. Less Lethal devices such as Chemical Launchers, Blast Sticks, Pepper Spray or a Stun Gun can be effectively used to deter attackers and create space for you to escape situations like this. Bus drivers needs these devices just as much as police officers do. What do you think?

The good thing about this story was the guy being assaulted by this crazy dude was able to de-escalate the situation by overpowering him and taking him to the ground pinning him. But not everyone has the same capabilities that this guy had. A self protecting device could have helped by reducing the risk of injury by engaging with this lunatic. One or two shots of a chemical round would have put this mad-man in his rightful place. Anybody out there ever had to deal with road rage and if so, how did you deal with it? Just curious.š¤

Another heart wrenching story of a mother and daughter brutally assaulted by a man in a zoo parking lot over a parking stall. These two women could have loss their lives. The most troubling part of this story was this guy was released pending further investigation. As Iāve said before, most of the time we are our own first responders before help arrives. This morning there was a major incident that happened at my clients AA meeting just before we arrived. Cops had to be called in. They were all over the place. A couple of months back I got into a serious altercation in this very same area which could have ended pretty bad. I had no self protection device, but thank God cops came just in time. Since that time it changed my entire mindset about carrying a weapon. To be honest I never wanted to. At the moment I still canāt see myself carrying a real firearm. So for me a less lethal option is what Iāve chosen for now. Anyway as Iāve mentioned before we should always carry something to protect ourselves. You just never know when š© might hit the fan. Another great self defense tool to add to your arsenal for Less Lethal Self Protection. The good ol pepper spray. A great back up that fits right in your pocket. Attacks the central nervous system, impairs vision, restricts breathing, and causes the nose to fill with mucus and skin to feel like itās on fire quickly incapacitates attacker. Some say that less lethal devices are nothing more than a toy gun. Iām not sure if I agreeš¤ What do folks think? Please if you own one do not try this at home these guys are trained professionals. Copying these guys could result in serious bodily harm. I havenāt even tried it on myself yetš I plan to some day when I got the Bš¤ LLS to do it. In this video Iām showing my daily setup for Concealed Carry. Since I chose not to carry a real gun this for me is the better option. With the rise of violence and crime happening in Hawaii I truly believe every person should have some sort of Less Lethal Self Protection device to defend themselves in a situation where your life is being threatened. Yesterdayās story on the news was so heartbreaking. Iāve come to the realization that it doesnāt matter where you are in your life. About to get married, just had a baby, first day on the job as a security guard etcā¦violence and death can come to us at anytime. Of course none of us can escape death, but I truly believe violent acts in some cases towards us can be stopped, if we have something to protect ourselves with. Whether itās lethal or a less lethal weaponā¦CARRY SOMETHING. You just never know when you might need it. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their familiesšš¼š
