Right.
So, I’m just going to put this out there.
After raising what can be described as a large amount of money ( thanks entirely to you ). ÂŁ1250.
I’ve been thinking hard about which charity to donate to on your behalf.
There’s many well deserving charities out there.
But today I went to pub watch as I said I would, the haven was mentioned.
Didn’t think much about it till I actually got home and read their mission statement. “The Haven Wolverhampton is a charity, registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales.
Our vision is for all women and children to live in a society free from oppression, homelessness, violence, and abuse, and to promote and uphold human rights.
Our mission is to provide support to women and children who are vulnerable to domestic violence, abuse, and homelessness.”
Ive seen first hand the fall out from domestic violence / abuse, when I was younger (hospital trips) and also again into my early adult life. My mom is a strong, proud mother and I love her millions ( I probably don’t tell her enough or show enough appreciation for what she went though) I love you mom.
I can’t imagine, being a father, having to leave my family home with nothing but the clothes on my back. With this donation, if it helps just 1 person, child or youngster. We’ve made a difference together. Thank you x
