I don’t normally gloat or brag
but …
Kanye Wests distributor doesn’t want to upload his new album to Apple Music because he wants a better cut and they won’t agree so Kanye has to find a new distributor to get his album released on Apple Music etc
It reminds me how successful I have been as he needs a distributor who wants to take a cut of his sales and streams to upload music to Apple Music
where as I have a direct deal with Apple and just upload directly to their servers as and whenever I feel like it !
Yeah you heard that right !
As unbelievable as you think it is I find it hilarious
Little old underground me makes 100% of my income dealing direct and staying underground and Mr West has to find a middle man who want to take his a percentage of his income to get it to Apple Music.
And it’s not about how much we make it’s about how much I want to give up to be filthy rich vs having the ability to live on my terms because my music is search so much Apple had to do a direct deal with me and now I can chill in my underground life.
Let this sink in for a while
Then maybe reaprace your definition of success and its meaning to different people.
