These summer storms are a vibe. This footage is slowed down to 20% speed if you can believe it!

I’ve been putting off creating a portfolio but I’ve been working on it this week and decided it would be a good time to update my showreel. Here are some of my favorite clips from my work.
The day before we left, we went to Washington DC and tried to cram in as many sights as possible. Needless to say they were awesome and endless.
After all the wedding stuff we spent a chill Sunday exploring Gettysburg.
I’m glad we got to be apart of this special day in this special place. Congrats Luke & Hannah!
My wife’s side of the family went to the D.C. area for their son Luke’s wedding. Here is the video captured from the first day.
You’d think I would have made one of these sooner… Life is just so different now. It’s snowing in April… And our house is filled with little screeches.
On this very boring Saturday, I knew I should probably document some of these things before they are gone. Things I don’t want to forget.
There’s so much to say about Maisie’s nursery.
- All the walls were millennial gray. When I found out that we were having a girl, I wanted a super faint pink accent wall. We ended up painting it 4 separate times because we could not get the color right. After diluting one of the colors we liked quite a bite, we finally found what we were looking for. Then Allyson and her sisters painted the “archway” to give the wall some more contrast.
- The lights used to be bright pure white but we felt that the room needed just a tiny bit more warmth as well as a dimmer switch (a must!).
- The crib was given to us by some friends. We ended up painting it the green color it is now.
- The rug is probably the third or fourth rug we tried. It was difficult to find a rug in the right size, right colors, and within budget.
- The sconces are not wired, they have battery powered bulbs that are controlled with a remote. Super nice for those late night diaper changes. Allyson made the sconce shades herself!
- The rocking glider chair is second hand! Found on Facebook marketplace for a killer deal and it looks brand new!
- The small shelf where we put toys we also found secondhand but it was brand new. Allyson also painted that green, and on top sits an encased (fake) butterfly, you’ll also see other butterflies throughout the room since that is the theme we chose. There is a framed cross stitch that my mother made with Maisie’s birth information.
- We have some book shelves that we got from Amazon. The shelves are overfilled with books that were given to us, a bunch of which are custom and have Maisie’s name throughout!
- The closet is filled with cute outfits, most of which came from my mother who couldn’t put down her knitting needles.
- The changing table has been in the family for a long time and was handed down to us, probably the most work of all. It used to be a very orangey red stain. We sanded every square inch. Painted the inlay gold and mixed about 4 other stain
I didn’t get out to do much video on my last outing, but this was my favorite shot from a family camping trip to Soap Stone. All the ATV’s were kicking up dust and gave the forest an awesome look. When I hear the word “dusk”, I think of something like this.
Playing with 120fps and the new tripod. Nothing fancy. Enjoy.
