Important info for tomorrow’s meeting. The team of people who have been working on this meeting behind the scenes have done an amazing job. We would like you to know the following. The meeting is open to any Fayette county resident, land owner, property owner, such as a business etc. You do not have to live here to come to the meeting. But you do have to have a connection to Fayette county that you can prove. You are welcome if you are a property owner. If you do not have a drivers license or an ID that indicates a Fayette County address please text or call me at 512–848–6575 so I can get you on the preapproved list for tomorrow’s meeting. If you do not have a connection to Fayette County, but you feel the need to be there, please text or call me to discuss and I will get you on the preapproval list. If you have a folding chair that you could bring, please do so. We have no idea how many people are coming. We are still needing refreshment donations. If you could bring any type of snacks to share that would be great. Please try to arrive by 1:30pm for check in. We are expecting a huge crowd. I have been informed that at least two of our county commissioners will be present for the meeting. That’s great news! if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you to the 25 people who have signed the petition so far. Your info will not be shared in a public setting, nor is your email visible to anyone. Your signatures expressing that WE DO NOT WANT WIND TURBINES IN FAYETTE COUNTY will be given to the Commissioners Court on the 27th. I was told by a very prominent person that this would have the biggest impact on trying to stop the wind turbine company. I can not do this by myself. It will take the whole county signing the petition and showing up at the meeting, standing in solidarity against this. Please share the petition with anyone in Fayette County that you know. Months after the company responsible missed a key deadline, the Texas environmental agency has yet to take further action.

This was brought to my attention today. This wind turbine company has its eyes set on Fayette County. Mainly North of I-10 directly up Hwy 77 north, roughly 50k acres. They are contacting land owners privately and dangling money for contracts. They are hosting a land owner dinner. We must not let this ruin our beautiful county. SAY NO TO WIND TURBINES! 🚨☠️🚨 See the comments for the statistics on the horrible impact wind turbines have on the environment.

UPDATE!!!! They have been found! 🎉🎉🎉

HELP!!!!! My neighbor is missing approximately 40 goats! Please be on the look out in the Swiss Alps area!

Emergency! I am missing 25 head of goats plus roughly 16 head of kids. Three of the adult goats are Male Billy goats. I am at Swiss Alp between Schulenburg and La Grange off 77 and 3171 right next to the Lutheran Church. I am making a sheriffs department report this morning and have called them. I also own cows but they are not missing. Please be on the lookout for them. I cannot afford to be put a whole herd of livestock. I will be calling ALL the local Salebarns and vets next. My number is 15129249390. I will answer any calls. Thanks in advance and pray they are found!

The Hostyn Mayfest is upon us! Come spend the day with us this Sunday!

Some things to note:

🔸 This will be Father Felix’s last Hostyn Mayfest as our parish priest. Let’s send him off with lots of smiles and well wishes! 🥰

🔸 This will also be Father Felix’s last time baking a cake for the live auction. If you would like to donate towards the cake please call the church office. 🍰

🔸We will have for sale marble statues made from the altar salvaged from the church and also stained glass made from pieces collected from the church. ⛪️
