Painted up a couple of ! It's odd to me that these were just released. I don't get why doesn't release all the for their campaign materials as the books are released. came out a jillion years ago, and this monster was unrepresented until now. The campaign I intend to run, has a bunch of unrepresented monsters as well.

I complain a lot about the idea of pre-painted . Here's why. There's no comparable , so I bought this one in order to to match a player's character. I wasn't expecting much, and as you can still see here, they still managed to disappoint. His bangs are flesh colored, and his eyes are printed onto his bangs! The blobbed on paint also makes an awkward gab between his hair and neck. Here's hoping he strips well!

Thursday was supposed to be the first day of my campaign, but I got called in to work at the last minute. I wanted so desperately to show off the I made! Leaving the details and terrain scatter off so as not to spoil anything for my party, but I'm really proud of this. I hope to make large scale maps for both exploration and combat for every step of the way.

Sneak peak of my mini! Got the base coat on. I'm not the biggest fan of metallic paints, but I'm too green to try my hand at nmm yet. The wings on these dragons and the dynamic poses they have make getting paint into all the nooks and crannies very difficult. But now for the fun part! Detailing it up!

Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures - W13 - Bronze Dragon Wyrmling & Pile of Seafound Treasure. Update from yesterday's post. The came with a small piece of terrain scatter, a cute ! I was really happy to have a cool chest to use for whatever, but while it, I noticed that there's no real treasure in this thing! It's full of and ! So much for usability! That's not even the kind of treasure a collects! Next post will probably be a WiP on the Young Bronze Dragon :)

And here it is, lads and gents! My Family! This is currently every size bronze dragon available in the line. I wanted to get all 3 before I started so I can ensure I get the coloration right on all 3, as when I started my Green Dragon, I didn't take notes on my color mixing and my baby looks nothing like the daddy, like a good Maury episode.

Reaper Miniature: Rocky Brush Holder.
I've had this lil' guy for a while, was nervous to work on him since he's not a simple mini, he's a desk fixture. Now that he's all put together and painted, I dunno how I didnit without him.

Finally done stripping my mini! I can't believe how many unseen details, the amount of scales and muscles hidden by the old paint job. I'm so excited to get this nice and zenithaled up when I have the time. Last 2 photos are the original paintjob. Besides the thickness of the paint, I also had trouble with the color choices. It looked more like a leather armor dragon than a green dragon to me :P
