Box & Plum styles have thus far ranged from techno to drum&bass to disco to downtempoand is ever expanding.
Box & Plum is a long distance dj and music production collaboration project with the purpose of bringing diverse style together from different regions of the country for the masses. Box & Plum began back in 1996 at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA when Toby Roberts and Ben Chambers met and learned they could blend they're diverse musical tastes together to create a sound that more than the sum of t
he parts. Since then life has taken them to different parts of the country yet back in 2010 they realized that even though their ears and outlook may have evolved the fact remained that their dj sounds were more effective through collaboration just as back in the day at college. In 2012 they decided to expand and test this phenom out by bringing in different friends from coast to coast and low and behold the theory prooved true and this collaboration project has pushed out some incredible diverse mixes. They are at the helm of rehashing they're love of music through music production and now this theory turned law will traverse the world through collaboration on different production projects.
