I'm not a big breakfast or breakfast food person. Its just not my jam. I don't know why I don't do avocado toast more often. This hit the spot this morning!
Whole grain toast, mashed avocado, and everything bagel seasoning.
Just a mom trying to raise decent humans, keep her family on track, and not lose her mind.

Just took inventory and reorganized my freezer. I sooo want a deep freezer but we can't seem to let ourselves part with the money for one quite yet! 💸
Look what my hubby made! One of my extra kiddos turned 3 today and had a 3-Rex 🦖 birthday!
Cleaned out the medicine cabinet this afternoon. I may have a small hoarding problem 😂
Anyone else still living in the 90s/Early 2000s? This is what's on my TV whenever I have time alone.
On Friday's the kids get the choice of eating school lunch or packing their own.
7yo is home sick again
13yo made herself pasta salad last night with the extra heart shaped pasta I had in the pantry.
Look how great she did at packing this lunch!
No lunch posts today!
7yo is home sick.
My extra kiddos aren't here today because she's sick (one is sick herself) so no littles lunch either.
13yo wanted leftover pizza so I just threw the whole baggie of pizza, some oreos, blueberries in a baggie, and a chocolate milk in her box and called it a day. 🤷♀️
I made some homemade honey mustard salad dressing today 😋
Grilled Honey Mustard chicken on a salad for dinner and I made enough to use some on a basic salad and half a sandwich for lunch
Littles lunch!
Leftover Taco Tater Tot Casserole, apples, and corn.
Homemade lunchables!
I forgot to buy carrots so no veggie for 7yo 🤦♀️
13yo likes pepper jack while 7yo likes Colby jack
Littles lunch
Turkey sandwiches, blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, and/or cucumber.
Regular schedule in the morning after a 4 day weekend! We enjoyed some downtime, friend time, and family time. I did not meal prep and I know that will come back to bite me!
When you meal plan and need your family to keep their grubby paws off of certain items. 😂
*there are plenty of options, even some of these same items available to them. I just need them to not eat all packages if certain things 😂
Next 2 weeks of meals planned
Grocery order placed for this afternoon
Weekly meal prep tomorrow!
Valentine’s Day tradition, we always get the girls heart shaped pizza for dinner. I had Papa Dough so this baby was free!
Toddlers' lunch today. 4yo ate it all. 3yo ate most of the broccoli and tried a bite of chicken.
When you find your person, Valentine’s Day doesn't seem as big of a deal, you love them everyday. Hopefully you show them everyday, maybe in much smaller ways, but it's nice to receive tokens of love and appreciation sometimes.
My honey surprised me with these today. I know it's customary to give flowers and candy but he knows I'm trying to make better choices, that I'm not big on candy, and that I love a loaded salad 😂
Valentine’s lunch for my kiddos! Heart shaped pasta with red sauce, strawberry milk, strawberries, grape tomatoes for the 13yo and xoxo gummies.
*Forgot to take pictures of the whole thing completed
**Pasta and gummies from Trader Joe's
French Toast Friday!!!!
7yo didn't like them because "they taste like plain mustard". The store was out of our usual brand so I bought 2 boxes of these (I did not tell the kids they were different). 13yo eats when she gets to school so we'll hear her opinion this afternoon.
No lunchbox on Fridays!
7yo eats school pizza and 13yo flip flops between making her own lunch and buying school lunch.
Sandwich kabobs in the lunchboxes today!
13yo has pepperoni, salami, tomato, lettuce, pickle, and cheese on hers.
7yo has pepperoni, turkey, salami, pickle and cheese on hers.
*can you find the emotional support carrot? 😂
My Breakfast this morning. 2 eggs scrambled with some leftover smoked sausage, lots of green peppers and onions, and a sprinkle of monterrey cheese.
Basic lunch today! Turkey sandwiches. E(13) plain, just meat, cheese, and bread. M(7) with yellow mustard.
*see emotional support carrot making its daily appearance 😂
February dining table ❤️❤️❤️
*Our little plant was a gift a friend of ours made for my husband. He'll always be on out table, no matter the season 😂
Pizza "lunchables" in the lunch boxes today!
Notice the single carrot in 7yo lunch. This is our exposure veggie. It will travel back and forth between home and school all week until I declare it DOA Friday afternoon and it meets its final resting place in the trash. 🪦
Pizza Pasta for dinner tonight! It's a family favorite 😍
Plus it's done in the Instant Pot so I only have to stand over it and cook for less than 10 minutes.
Chopped a bunch of carrots, onions, and peppers to freeze and easily throw into my prepped meals or whatever we're cooking.
Meal prep for the week complete. I did it a little differently tonight. Usually I prep Monday-Thursday all on Sunday night but we are having a Cod dish later in the week and it made me nervous to prep it so far in advance so I'll prep that after dinner in a couple days. Also, my Irish stew recipe told me cut potatoes into chunks and add to the bag but I'm worried they'd oxidize and be black so I'm going to cut the potato up when I throw it into the crockpot.
Grabbed my first sumo orange at HEB to try because feeding_kae pretty much said my life is missing something if I didn't 😂🍊
Two weeks of meals planned and shopped for except lettuce and rolls for Italian sandwiches and Phillys, they'll go bad before we use them so we will grab those a day or 2 before we need them. We will also need more fruit and milk before next grocery day (we go through about 2 gallons a week). We have some things left from our last grocery week and get most of our toiletries and cleaning supplies at Sams (monthly trip) so you won't see those on there.
