Rick Astley and Blossoms - There is a light that never goes out (Glastonbury 2023)
The Wonder of Stevie
This is the latest RadioHalo production made assembling the thoughts of Stevie the Wonderkid
When this song came out in 1985 I could not fully relate to it. I felt it was a bit out of time, a time of glasnost and Gorbachev, in the middle of 80s positivity this song sounded too rethoric and gloomy…. Until today.

Sting - We Work the Black Seam (RadioHalo rework)
The Police had achieved worldwide success and cult status in the space of just five years from the rock reggae fusion of Roxanne in 1978 to the timeless Every Breath you Take and the Synchronicity album from 1983.
So when Sting announced his solo album in 1985 millions of fans felt that a great musical journey was being interrupted too soon.
But what if The Police hadn’t split in 1985? How would Sting’s song from his first solo album sound as Police songs?
As a huge Police fan, I tried to answer this question imagining how The Police would play We Work The Black Seam, from Sting’s solo album Tne Dream Of The Blue Turtles.
This is the result.
If you are a Sting or Police fan, let me know what you think.
U2 - New Year’s Day (live 1993)
Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet with butterfly wings (live 1996)
