Would you stand in it, take a bath, clean yourself, splash, in an Open-Channel-Drain Water-Ditch that exist all around the area, or , use a cup/bowl from it, for your infant baby bath ? Wash your hair, face, private parts ? THAT is the TEST, is it not ? Clean, clear, decent stormwater in the ditches, drains, channel, rivers ? SURE location matters, always has, some spots better than others.
