Sooo I was dropping the girls off at school today and picked up some and my total was ironically $20.24! And it struck me about my financial goals that I have mentally set for myself. I thought about how much I spent last month. I told my sister to calculate her September total because I blame her too lol!! 😩

So, I decided to crunch the numbers and was shocked at how much I spent on takeout last month! 😱💸

MY TOTAL: $580 (est) roughly $19/day

But, it’s a new month, and I’m determined to be more financially conscious in October! I’m already at $150 for this month 😩 and it’s only the 2nd!

Here are 5 practical ways I plan to save money on takeout:

1️⃣ Meal Prep 🥗: Prep homemade meals in advance to curb fast-food cravings and last minute spending.

2️⃣ Budget it Out : Set a limit for take out/restaurants each week to avoid overspending.

3️⃣ Explore Coupons & Deals 💰: Hunt for discounts and promotions before ordering. Especially, the nights.

4️⃣ DIY : Looking up some of my favorite take out meals and create them at home – it should be fun and cost-effective!

5️⃣ Join Rewards Programs 🤝: Sign up for loyalty programs to score freebies and discounts. Between and I rake up the points.
