I'm currently reading a chronological bible and came across this verse from Job. I was reminded of what I've read before that there are times that it's wise to just listen and be there for someone who is in deep pain. That our presence, even without too much words is enough to bring them comfort. And that the deeper the pain, the lesser the words. (Because if we'll be honest, there are really times that we don't know what to say).

No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words. - Job 2:13b

The universe doesn't have anything to do with what happens in your life. And if for you it represents God because you think universe is massive and vast - nope! Remember, it was God who created the universe. He is bigger and greater than that! He is bigger and greater than anything. And just like you and me, it also gives praise to Him. So, when good things or blessings come your way, seek and thank the One who created and owns the universe. Not the universe itself.

Happy New Year everyone! Praise God for His faithfulness and goodness for the past year and we know we can always count on Him to be the same this new year and the years to come. 🙏

I have been colouring stamped images for years now but this is the very first time I coloured in a bible page. This is not actually the one that I'm using for journaling or art but I've started reading the bible chronologically and I'm using the Expressions One Year Chronological Bible and it comes with pre-printed images.
