Story time of how referrals, or just attending a wedding, plays a part of our industry.
This one started back in 2021 with the Hickeys. Despite rules and regulations at the time, we had one heck of a party.
Originally slated for 2020, We now celebrate Baltruschs in June 2022. Among those celebrating the Baltruschs were The Schlossers. Behold months later, I received a inquiry from The Schlossers to DJ their wedding.
Before I got to the Kerber/Schlosser Wedding in 2023, I had the Margarit/Novaczyk Wedding in October 2022.
Now, fast forward to September 2023 and the Kerber/Schlosser wedding.
As I’m finalizing preparations for the night. I’m taking a look at the names on the place cards and I see: Lindsay & Sean Hickey, Brooke & Jordan Baltrusch, Laura Novaczyk. All the couples I had the privilege to DJ and celebrate with from the past, now all together at one event.
To say it was a party is an understatement, but it was a PARTY.
This is the greatest example of how a referral can go a long way.
