Ready for Sanremo?
The RAI troupe interviews the female artist taking part to Sanremo 1986. The outcome is an exhilarating yet controversial reportage, where the contrasting attitudes of the performers emerge. The press had been in fact cavalcading the alleged rivalry between Loredana Bertè and Donatella Rettore.
This video, taken from the @rai_it archives, was shown during our talk for @sprintmilano to debate the representation of the woman in the 1980s Italian music industry.

Farewell to Gian Piero 'Bisteccone' Galeazzi, Olympic rower, bonvyvant, and icon of sports journalism and a man whose image is indissolubly bond to the golden age of Italian football.
This interview made history, not only beacuse it highlighted Galeazzi's on-field journalistic skills by spontaneously establishing a dialogue between Inter Milan's Rummenigge and Napoli's Diego Armando Maradona, but also because it showed how two different ways of playing, but also two separate cultures found in sports and 1980s Italy a common ground.
The clip is also an opportunity to take a closer look to the unique folklore that animated the Italian football curve of the past, something that the moralism of pay TV and modern sports journalism have contributed to suppress.
