Made our way around Lake Okeechobee Fl, and spent the night in Big Cypress National Preserve. Drove through the Florida Panther Preserve. We didn’t see any Panthers. We did see lots of alligators. Swung by Naples on our way to Tampa. We are hanging out in Tampa for a few days before heading into the Withlacoochee State Park for a van festival.

Visited Hattiesburg, Mississippi yesterday. A quick in and out. Stopped by the visitor center and asked what one thing we should see and the young lady said that the pocket museum was a must. Off we went phone in hand to find the Pocket museum. Parked and walked around the block freezing our butts off. Could not find a museum to save our life. Decided to cut down an ally that looked interesting and lo and behold we were in the museum. It is an outside museum with all kinds of wonders to behold. You had to really look there was so much. Enjoy our pictures. Zoom in to really see what you are looking at.

We belong to a service called Havest Hosts. There is a yearly fee to be a member but all the stays are free. The businesses ask that you purchase something from them for staying or give a small donation. Cheaper than campgrounds and you get to meet great people.

Over the past year we stayed at wineries, distilleries, breweries, people’s personal residences and businesses that are hosts. While here in Laurel, Mississippi we parked at two host spots. Panels Up Solar and The Veterans Memorial Museum.
