In addition to being a wonderful musician and entertainer, Wavy is also a committed activist, co-founding organizations such as Camp Winnarainbow and the Seva Foundation. An iconic fixture of Woodstock, he became the festival's Master of Ceremonies and remains the only person to appear on the bill for all Woodstock festivals to date. Wavy is also a dear friend of The Ace of Cups, going all the way back to San Francisco in the early 1960s. Over the years, Wavy and the band maintained their friendship, which culminated with Wavy Gravy being featured on the band's song "Basic Human Needs" from their 2020 record 'Sing Your Dreams.'
