We have just learned that Louie Anderson died today as well. He was an American stand-up comedian, actor, author and game show host. Anderson created the cartoon series Life with Louie and wrote four books. And was host of the Family Feud game show.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Michael Lee Aday, better known as Meat Loaf. He was an American singer and actor. He was noted for his powerful, wide-ranging voice and theatrical live shows. His album, "Bat Out of Hell" was released in 1977 and became one of the best-selling of all time.

I bet ya didn't know these facts about your favorite Christmas tunes:
1. While we associate "Jingle Bells" with Christmas, the song was meant to celebrate Thanksgiving.
2. "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree," and "Holly Jolly Christmas" were written Johnny Marks. He was jewish.
3. The first Christmas song to mention Santa was Benjamin Hanby's "Up On The Housetop." Written in 1864.
4. "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is one of the oldest Christmas songs to still get airplay.
5. Thurl Ravenscroft, the singer responsible for How the Grinch Stole Christmas' classic song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," also was the voice for Tony the Tiger!
