A complete focus on the past is unhealthy. However, a reflection on the past can bring perspective with which we can live more fully in the present while contemplating the future. We hope you enjoy reflecting on the past through Knoxville Heritage
YEARBOOKS
Initially we have provided a way to view yearbooks from both East High School and its predecessor, Knoxville High School. These digital yearb
ooks can be flipped through just like you would flip through the real thing. We hope to complete the offering of both school’s yearbooks and would like to borrow those we do not have from anyone who has them. We will scan them and return them to you. Other schools will be added in the future. REUNIONS, NEWSPAPERS, and GRAMMAR SCHOOL PHOTOS
We also have included: reunion photos from many EHS and KHS reunions, school newspapers from these two schools and grammar school class photos from Park Lowry, Fair Garden, and Chilhowee Grammar Schools, feeder schools of EHS. We also need to borrow any of these items that you may have stored in musty attics, brittle photo albums or boxes under your bed. We will help you make them available to like-minded classmates, friends and families of classmates, and to people intrigued by this offbeat but captivating collection of memorabilia. YOUTH SPORTS
Additionally, we have a section of youth sports teams on which many students played in the 50s and early 60s. As you can see, we have holes in our collection. Help us out please. We, and others interested in seeing them, will be grateful. NEWS & UPDATES
