(5)

My business is all about giving you a 'voice' amongst the 'noise' online, I become your personality online and help build your presence up. I represent you in the digital space, this does take time and effort but by connecting with the right audience and building up trust, this leads to the right relationships being made and ultimately making you money. That golden word but I am all about the peop

le helping them to succeed first.

1. *Brand Alignment*: Is when I embody your brand values, tone and messaging in all online interactions. By understanding their brand identity from the beginning and voice, I can effectively communicate on their behalf and maintain consistency across all online platforms.

2. *Building Trust*: By being your 'voice' online, my main aim is to build trust and credibility with their audience. Being consistent and authentic in communication helps establish a strong connection with followers and potential customers, leading to increased loyalty and engagement.

3. *Content Creation*: This is widely spoken about in 'marketers' circles, but what I have learnt, is that if you show interest in your prospective customers business, by showing them value, is to create content that is relevant to their sector, this will draw them in to you and be much easier to connect. Therefore, with my expertise I will look for articles, posts, newsposts, magazine posts that may be related to their industry and talk about it, or if they are active on their Social media channels will reiterate it back in a post.

4. *Engagement and Interaction*: This is what I find is one of the most important parts of 'Social' media, it is called social media for a reason to be sociable. I would help approach and engage with your audience through appropriate online comments or messages, by being responsive and personal, one can foster a sense of community and encourage meaningful conversations around their own brand.

5. *Thought Leadership*: I always wondered what this meant, but by building up my own channels over time and my experience in business, it is about sharing expertise and thought leadership in the industry. I will showcase their knowledge and insights and establish them as authoritative figures and go to resources for relevant information.

6. *Adaptability*: The world changes on a daily basis, and I will help my clients adapt to their evolving needs and feedback to continuously refine and improve their online presence. Flexibility and responsiveness are key to effectively representing their personality and brand identity online. AI as we know is a game changer and will help enormously in the way content is written in the future, but for me, the personality is key in any business to get that across is difficult - it may work on a 'company business page' but not for the individual. I can embody my clients personality and values online, I can effectively communicate their message and engage with their audience, and ultimately help them achieve their business objectives in the digital space. This personalised and strategic approach can lead to a stronger online presence, help with website traffic, and increase brand awareness. Are you an online seller?

HMRC are warning individuals who sell online to make sure their tax affairs are up to date, as digital platform operators (such as eBay, Etsy and Vinted) in the UK will soon be required to share details of individuals selling goods/services online with HMRC via annual reports.

This will help identify people who haven’t been paying tax on their income.

Individuals can earn trading income of up to £1,000 before expenses, therefore if your sales figures are more than this, you will need to register as self-employed to declare this income and you may need to pay tax.

For anyone who went over this threshold in the tax year ended 5 April 2024, you have until 5 October to register with HMRC for self-assessment!

For further assistance or guidance, please contact us through our website at crowthers.co.uk, call us at 01531 631500, or email us at [email protected].

Happy Birthday Kelly! Lovely to meet you on Wednesday! Great meeting Ledbury Business Women LBW.

Crowthers Accountants

This week has been bustling at the Ledbury Office! From networking events to a special birthday celebration, we've been keeping busy.

We believe that networking is crucial for staying connected with the local community. Our Senior Manager, Kelly Cummings, recently represented us at a meeting held at Ledbury Cricket Club on Wednesday.

Incidentally, we also celebrated at the Ledbury Office Kelly's forthcoming 40th Birthday.

Kelly is our Senior Manager in Ledbury and specialises in Ledbury general practice work and our payroll bureau service. Kelly joined the firm in 2002, straight from A-levels, and during her time, has worked up from a trainee to her present role as senior manager.

Kelly knows the Ledbury area well, having lived there all her life, and she enjoys helping clients.

Happy Birthday, Kelly!

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.
Running a business is really hard.
What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people.
People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.
People will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.
You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.
Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a provider, family support, friend, spouse...
There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.
Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬!

I support as many charities as I can throughout the year, but this one is close to my heart and is based here in my home town of Great Malvern.

As well as offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dyspraxia assessments, sensory processing, aids and adaptation, facial oral tract therapy, speech and language therapy and music therapy.

WE ARE ON THE MOVE!!!
We are excited to announce that as of Tuesday 26th September we will be relocating and changing premises.

Our new home will now be called Grace & Mae and you will find us at -

No.1 Broads Bank,
Great Malvern,
WR14 2HP.

We have had a fantastic 15 years at The Avenue in Barnards Green and it’s been an incredible journey. Jo and Audra are so proud to have helped launch so many other small businesses that were once part of the Avenue and to have supported all our girls along the way.

We have experienced some great highs and some lows too…we won’t forget our amazing Yvonne who we miss deeply and was apart of the Avenue from day one, supporting both stylists and clients.

Audra, Jo and Sophie now undertake a new venture alongside Lisa who will be opening up her very own Salon, Grace & Mae.

All existing appointments will be at the new premises where the Avenue team will be welcoming you as usual, continuing working with the quality Kevin Murphy products and colour.

Future appointments for new and existing clients can be made on our current phone number 01684 566659.

We want to thank you all for your continued support, loyalty and patience as we move forward with our new chapter and support Lisa.

Cheers to change!! 🥂

Love,

Jo, Audra, Sophie and Lisa

Turning a dream into a reality...

Two years ago, I started my business with just a view in helping people get an online presence just through Twitter. Within a few weeks it became apparent, people needed help on Facebook as well as LinkedIn. I found a niche in becoming people’s personalities online, I never thought it would take off but within 3 months had a waiting list.

I strongly believe that the art of conversation does get YOU remembered, and as I approach 2020 I will still do ‘Social Media’ as that will always be my core, but I love to network, at events, expo’s and have found niche in helping other businesses doing this, as most small businesses cannot be everywhere at once. I will then, follow up with Social Media Housekeeping to help with new relationships that might be forming.

My motto was: Always be ‘simply the best’ in what you do but firmly believe that the ‘Art of Conversation will get YOU remembered’.
