What I whispered to him as I said goodbye, was thank you. I thanked him for being my best friend for 12 years. 1/3 of my life. Thanked him for inspiring so many people on tv and all across the country. Thanked him for all of the adventures we went on from Colorado to Virginia including rock climbing, hiking and camping. I thanked him for his unconditional love of me. It’s something I’ve never felt before and will never feel again. Thanked him for going everywhere with me. I thanked him for his loyalty and infectious heart. Chester, YOU are my soul dog, my heart dog, and there will never be another YOU. I’ll never stop thinking about you and I will never stop loving you. I’m lost and don’t know what I’m going to do without you. 💔
