Today's progress. Some minor touch-ups on the body and a base coat with brush on the mane. 🎨
The dust sticking to the paint is getting out of hand. 😅 Having the spray booth in the laundry room and the painting station right above my floofy bunnies is maybe not optimal 😝

Here is a rought first print of the horse! 😄
There is no mane and the tail got some problem in the print. But im still very happy to see it in real life for the first time!!! :D

In the process of making hair for the character. Its somewhat starting to come to life. As for now I have just applied simple plain materials to get some color to it.

A milestone reached for my character!!! 😁🙌🎉
You might have seen sneak peaks in my story on the process of modeling her. She is now fully modeled and ready for, uv-unwrapping, textureing, clothes, hair and so on.

Some of the possibilities planned for the big shader system that should in the final stage. It will be able to handle any color in any shade and streangth.

The video shows one part of the system that handels the gray gene that lightens the original color of the horse the older it gets. The example shows grey on a black base.

The really smart thing with this is that you can fade in shades and modifiers and pick the exact color you want, not being limited by pre painted options with maybe 3 alternatives, here you will be able to drag different sliders or colorpick the exact shade or combinations of your choice, having unlimited freedome and very unique horses.
