Bridge City Revival is dropping unreleased gems starting with a brand new single featuring "The First Lady of Portland Bluesโ LaRhonda Steele with Shimmy Shake.
This project was recorded in quarantine at Marmoset HQ over the summer of 2020 and highlights artists that have appeared across many projects in our catalog. To bring them together despite the challenges of a global pandemic speaks to the strength and perseverance of our creative community.

LaRhonda Steele, a Blues and gospel singer/songwriter, is recognized as one of the region's best rhythm and blues vocalists. LaRhonda is known as "The First Lady of Portland Blues," a title of leadership that she lives up to as she shares songs that carry forth directly from her soul and spiritual life force.
Bridge City Revival (BCR) is a new soul music collective from Portland, Oregon, brought together by friendship and inspired by the soulful sounds of the 1960s. Bandleader and trumpeter Farnell Newton, guitarist Gus Berry, keyboardist/bassist Michael Elson, and drummer Tyrone Hendrix are at the core of the project.
