Created – comprised of – and published by early-era “Millennials” subjected to 30+ years on the world stage of the socio-economic and geo-political Pandemonium of the past 3 decades – who reached early adulthood around the pivotal turn of the new millennium. The spawn of “Generation-X”, whose lucid memories of “Tupac”, “Biggie”, “Michael Jackson”, “Rage Against the Machine”, “Monica Lewenski”, “Em
inem”, “Y2K”, “9/11”, “Global Terrorism”, “Economic Instability”, “Clinton”, “Bush”, “The Patriot Act”, “The Surveillance State”, “Obama” and the recent emergence of “Bernie Sanders” have empowered subversive perspectives and seeded the divergence of free-thought. The first generation of many to follow who refute the fear to acknowledge and ignite the shift in paradigm belief systems and diverge from the stat-quo, archetypal systems of the establishment that have eroded the very fabric of society. Cognitive dissonance and irrational fear can no longer be a force for breeding indifference among this civil-minded genre of blatant honesty, dignity, integrity, compassion and most importantly – empathy with diplomatic resolve in the resistance of authoritarianism and blind obedience to demagoguery. Facing the world’s current and most dangerous issues requires questioning the existing models and methods of thinking by encouraging our fellow members of society to assemble in the creating of new solutions through the development of progressive ideologies and establishing of objective, unbiased perspectives to collectively achieve the most common of goals – ultimately the greater good.
“You see the old ways aren’t working, so it’s on us to do what we gotta’ do – to survive” by openly welcoming philosophies of free-thought and collective resolve, embracing the indifference that so viciously divides us. Our current pre-existing ideological-silos and ideological-static have virtually destroyed any chance at achieving the “greater good” and protecting the best interests of humanity, local and abroad. No longer can we continue to encourage the blissful ignorance that has incited these recent arrogant displays of distorted perception.
