The journal Testing, Psychometrics, Methodology in Applied Psychology (TPM) emphasizes the publication of original research, literature reviews and meta analyses which offer new knowledge to the fields of applied social psychology, work and organizational psychology, personality and individual differences, psychological methods. We are interested in publishing several types of contributions:
1. E
mpirical investigations that enlarge conceptual understanding in Psychology (original studies or meta-analyses);
2. Literature reviews that advance theory and/or promote novel studies;
3. The proposal of new analytic methods and new measurement tools;
4. Qualitative studies on subjects that are difficult to investigate with qualitative methods;
5. Also commentary articles of target contributions are well accepted. A sample of topics relevant to TPM includes: prejudice and prejudice reduction; political psychology; intergroup emotions; stereotypes; implicit social cognition; acculturation processes; immigration problems; intimate relationships; family processes; individual differences in personality, abilities, and attitudes; work motivation; work stress, health, and wellbeing; leadership; diversity in work settings; regulatory foci and organizational behavior; measurement methods; construction or adaptation of measurement instruments.
