In my books Magicians of the Gods (2015) and in America Before (2019 -- see screenshot below) I wrote about the giant comet progenitor of the Taurid meteor stream, fragments from which later kicked off the Younger Dryas global cataclysm in the Upper Palaeolithic 12,800 years ago. It's important to recognise, as I do in these books, that the Younger Dryas was an EPOCH that began with the cataclysm of 12,800 years ago and ended with a second cataclysm 11,600 years ago. It's likely that not only the beginning but also the end were caused by impacts of comet fragments from the Taurid meteor stream-- 12,800 years ago on the North American and Greenland ice caps and 11,600 years ago most likely in a major ocean. Both episodes were accompanied by dramatic sea-level rise and it may not be a coincidence that 11,600 years ago coincides with Plato's date for the destruction and submergence beneath the sea of the lost civilization of Atlantis.

Normally I share my photos on Instagram, I don't even think of sharing them here. However, yesterday, I had this bad feeling that I needed to back my phone up before I lost everything. I bought 2TB of cloud storage and guess what? Trying to upload it to the cloud is what killed my phone 🙃. Just dead. Frozen. lifeless. Now that I cant post on Instagram, I'll take this as a reminder that I shouldn't neglect Facebook. So, here are some shots I took of my Summer Solstice Ritual setup (full video on youtube).
