Pirene’s Fountain is a biannual online poetry journal which will mark its 5th year in January 2012.

We’re a global community of editors with diverse styles and preferences. Pirene’s Fountain presents an eclectic blend of work from emerging authors as well as highly accomplished poets.

Pirene’s Fountain Announcement

Due to unforeseen circumstances, PIRENE’S FOUNTAIN will be on hiatus, effective immediately, and will not open for the 2025 May-June submissions period.

We are still awaiting the final print proof of the 2024 issue #25. Once that is approved copies will be mailed to contributors.

Megan Merchant has completed work on the 2025 issue #26, currently in production. The galley will be sent to contributors for approval next month, and once complete, will be distributed in an online or e-book version.

Deep gratitude to all our wonderful poets for being part of the PF Poetry community!

Glass Lyre is an independent literary press publishing poetry collections, chapbooks, select short & flash fiction, and the occasional anthology.
