OFFICIAL TRAILER | “HELLO COSMO FROM VIETNAM" FASHION SHOW

Miss Cosmo 2024 officially begins with the unique opening fashion show titled “Hello Cosmo from Vietnam.” This event marks the start of Miss Cosmo’s annual tradition, where the first show serves as a special greeting from the host country.

This year, Vietnam is proud to host Miss Cosmo 2024, starting with the appearance of three muses, representing the warmth and pride of the nation: Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 Bui Xuan Hanh, Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau – National Director of Miss Cosmo Vietnam, and Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie. These three women were chosen to symbolize the beauty, strength, and passion of the host country.

This spectacular fashion show is a collaboration between director Long Kan, designer Le Thanh Hoa, and UniMedia, under the guidance of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, alongside the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in Ninh Binh.

Miss Cosmo 2024 is excited to announce Mrs. Paula Shugart as the first official judge for this year’s competition. Paula Shugart is renowned for her significant contributions to the beauty pageant industry and television production. She served as the President of the Miss Universe Organization, where she played a vital role in shaping global pageants community. Her experience extends beyond pageantry, having produced shows for major networks including ABC, NBC, MTV, and Columbia Pictures. Paula is also a respected member of the Director’s Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America.

In addition to her production expertise, Paula Shugart has held several prestigious positions and received numerous honors. She serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council to Ohio University’s Scripps College of Communication and has been awarded the Medal of Merit for Achievement in Entertainment and Television Production. She was appointed by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg as a commissioner on the city’s Latin Media and Entertainment Commission and is an honored member of the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

Madame Paula Shugart is also deeply committed to community service, actively participating in organizations such as Best Buddies, Breast Cancer Awareness, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and Same Sky. With her extensive background and unwavering dedication to excellence, Paula Shugart’s involvement as a judge will undoubtedly elevate the standards of Miss Cosmo 2024, ensuring a fair and inspiring competition for all participants.

We are also thrilled to welcome Mrs. Paula back to Vietnam. Her positive relationship with our country and her previous experiences here have left a lasting impression. We look forward to her return and the valuable insights she will bring to this year's event.
