"Young and Beautiful has a special place in my heart. It was a song I would revisit throughout my high-school years. From day one it has always given me goosebumps and it set aside this fear I had of getting older and losing my youth, feeling that with time I wouldn't be perceived as "pretty" anymore. This song reinforces my confidence in myself and makes me understand that change is a normal part of life and for myself and the people I love will always hold their same view of me no matter what. With Young and Beautiful and My Immortal now in my pocket me and my team are directing our focus towards originals. Not to say that there are not more covers on the way though....you'll just have to stay tuned!"

“My Immortal was Maddie’s idea. In the beginning I definitely lead the charge on what covers would best suit her voice and I’m glad to know that she has become more confident in her abilities as a singer and a visionary as an artist. Not to say the previous covers were bad. It’s just having another voice for ideas saves the listeners from my arrogance. Everything we do now doesn’t feel as one sided as it used to and at the end of it all we feel more confident about our work. Having this slight success with My Immortal has made us more cautious but it’s also given us a drive to keep getting better.”

"When Ali and I worked on Cordyceps: Chapter I. The idea was to write music inspired by the work of Gustavo Santaolalla, specifically on Naughty Dog's game "The Last of Us." In some ways I'd say we were successful with the first project but I wasn't really sure on whether or not I would continue the series. So, when I decided I would write for Chapter II. It was clear that I couldn't keep going with the same building blocks I used on the first. Writing a story through instrumentals can be incredibly challenging. Chapter II needed to be more experimental and I had to work really hard to break out of my production comfort zone. It will also be the starting point to my own story that will take place throughout the series. Whereas the first it was just loosely based on the beginning of the fictional epidemic." -Jacob Beauchamp 🎼
