NPP002 aka Somnolent Works „Follower EP” just dropped.

The second release for No Photo Policy dives into the modern fixation on social media metrics and offering a sharp critique of the blurred lines between perceived influence and true authenticity. „Follower EP” weaves a deeply atmospheric sonic landscape that questions the genuine value of connection in an era where follower counts, likes, and comments can be manipulated and distorted. Blending pulsating rhythms, warped samples, and haunting melodies, the EP strips away the veneer of influencer culture, exposing the deception, vanity, and fragile trust that define today’s digital interactions.

The second release for No Photo Policy comes from the head behind the label - Somnolent Works, diving into the modern fixation on social media metrics and offering a sharp critique of the blurred lines between perceived influence and true authenticity.

Somnolent Works is passionated about noisy/mechanical electro, breakbeat/jungle rhythms and 90s techno, often with robotic and strong elements. Loves to break conventions and explore new musical directions taken from different genres. The gritty and atmospheric landscape of factories, mines, and steelworks of his hometown region has had a significant impact on his music, particularly in its darker and more experimental elements. He’s a regular member of the CEL club in Katowice and founder of the No Photo Policy Label. Released his tracks in labels like: Ovelha Trax, SKAN Records, POTOP and more…

NPP001 aka Robodrum „Postczłowiek EP” finally arrives.

The term “postczłowiek” (or “posthuman” in English) rethinks what it means to be human, viewing us as part of a bigger, interconnected world rather than its center. This multidisciplinary field invites us to reconsider the boundaries of humanity in an era of rapid technological and ecological change. In line with these themes, Robodrum kicks off the No Photo Policy release cycle with a mini-album in his typical electro-style, combining dark vocoders with fast, saturated beats, reflecting the futuristic and transformative spirit of posthumanism.

An opening track „Ostatni” (eng. „The last”), from the upcoming Robodrum release, premieres on No Photo Policy YouTube channel. It is a slow-paced ambient electro track that perfectly contrasts with the fat/heavy basslines from the rest of the album. We thought that it would be perfect time to combine it with some immersive visualization… and we did it!

The year 1982 says it all. In Poland, martial law; across the ocean in NYC, Planet Rock is born. It was in this year, when Arthur Baker, Afrika Bambaataa, and SoulSonic Force composed electro-funk anthem, and Przemek Kuduk aka Robodrum was born in a military hospital in the Polish city of Szczecin.

Fast forward to today: Przemek's electro-funk beats have found homes on both Polish and international labels, including , Warehouse Manifesto Live , , Ovelha Trax, Bass Agenda, and more...

We're thrilled to kick off our release cycle with such a prominent electro artist. Stay tuned for more details about his upcoming release! 👾

It took us a bit longer than expected, but we are finally able to shed more light on the project details.

“No Photo Policy” is a small initiative born as a place where independent and underground artists can combine their musical vision with visual arts, where unpopular and underground electronic music can vibrate freely without social media constraints. You can call it a label if you want to, but we believe it is more than that. “No Photo Policy” is a common club rule that forbids the use of cameras on the dance floor, giving the participants (and artists as well!) the freedom to express themselves and be who they want to be at the moment without putting on an artificial façade.

We can’t wait to share more details about the project with you, especially the forthcoming artist who has joined the NPP community. Stay tuned for upcoming transmissions from the alternative realm. 🏴‍☠️👾
