Our own emcee Melissa Jones McGinnis will be presenting at East Texas ParaCon this year!

We are delighted to welcome back Melissa McGinnis to East Texas ParaCon!

Melissa is often a behind-the-scenes face for ParaCon, reaching out to guests, working with vendors, and posting announcements on social media. However, she is a UFOlogy/xenology enthusiast, and no stranger to the stage and public speaking, being an Organizer and Emcee for both Kilgore Geekend and Tyler Celtic Fest. She is also an Officiant and performs the Handfasting Ceremony for the Celtic Fest. She debuted as a ParaCon speaker last year with a presentation on Enoch and alien abduction.

Melissa's presentation will be "For Whom Die Glocke Tolls," a historical presentation about the Die Glocke (The Bell) conspiracy surrounding an attempt at alien tech retro-engineering by Hi**er and the N***s during WWII.

Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe (117 N. Johnson St) and The Historic Select Theater (114 N. Johnson St.) in Mineola, TX, are teaming up to bring you a FREE Terrific Tuesday Classic Film TONIGHT at 7PM!
Come see the amazing, fantastic, beloved, beautiful, romantic fantasy adventure known as "Somewhere in Time" starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour! It's got everything a true classic needs to make you remember it always! Great acting, great story, and true love...what more do you need? Admission is FREE to all, as long as we have seats!!
Plus, there will be cartoons, trivia, and prizes given out!! AND Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, across the street from the theater will be open prior to the movie and an hour after the movie ends if you want to do some evening shopping or just check it out. It's not your usual shop...carrying everything from antiques to home made soap, and from comic books to record albums, and from incense to classic soda pop! It's the "something different" store!

Hey, a special nerdy edition of one of our AstroNet sister shows!

Hello! This show is near and dear to me, as I'm talking to some of the best people I know about one of my favorite things in the world. I'm joined in the studio by Kilgore Geekend performers Loretta Callens, Chris Ferguson, Amy Pruitt (and her daughter Paisley), Rosaleen McGinnis, and Jax and Grayson from Jericho March. Geekend's owner Rick Custer and producer Erin "A-Aron" McGinnis round out the crew for a little longer-than-usual show where we talk about playing at Geekend, why we do it, and music and events in general.
