[💌 DM us to adopt any one of these cute pups 🧡, or to find out how you can support their journey to a forever home! 💌]

Hi, We are the Thomas family! 🐾✨

All of our names are actually ‘Thomas’ 😂, named by the anneh who looks after us at the besi buruk area. He did that to make it easy to call us all during feeding. ❤️

Everything was alright until someone made a complaint about us to DBKL. 🥺 They came to catch us but we managed to run away.

They might come back… 💔

So, before that, these kind hoomans are trying to find us a forever home so that we would be safe. 💗

We are harmless and adorably chaotic. ✨ If you take any one of us home with you, we promise to be good bois and girls. ☺️💕

If you’re looking for a sweet companion to brighten your every day, we are your buddy. We can’t wait for our forevermore! ✨

Age: ~ 3 months old
Gender: Male & Female
Health status: Not vaccinated or neutered

💌 Drop us a DM to adopt Thomas/Tommy/Tommo/Tom/Tam! 🧡

Did you know dogs have quietly walked beside us throughout Malaysia’s history? 🐕🇲🇾

In kampungs, they’ve guarded homes, followed farmers to the fields, and stood watch day and night. 🌙

In towns and cities, they’ve been loyal companions, walking beside families through every stage of life. 🐾

Long before “pets” became a modern idea, dogs were already family, offering protection, comfort, and a bond built on trust. 💗✨

Even homeless dogs today carry that same spirit, watching over communities in their own quiet ways. Some greet us at shops, some protect us from afar, while others guide us along familiar paths, reminding us that kindness doesn’t need words. 💕

They are living proof that dogs are more than just our companions. ✨ They are part of our history, our culture, and our shared humanity. ❤

To honor them is to honor our past, and to build a future where every dog, whether homeless or owned, is treated with the love and respect they’ve always given us ❤️

On 15 August 2025, animal welfare NGO Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) discovered a dog who was allegedly skinned alive - with torn skin on its head and body - after receiving a public tip-off.

Although the poor doggo was rushed to the vet, he/she had to be humanely put to sleep (euthanized) due to the severity of the injuries, along with infections. This was allegedly advised by the vet, to end the dog’s suffering. 💔

❇ 5 days later (20 August 2025), approximately 50 dog lovers and NGOs gathered at the Merdeka Jaya Industrial Zone for a press conference, calling for justice for the dog. During the conference, it was announced that the monetary reward for legitimate information that will lead to the capture of the perpetrator, has gone up to RM51,100.

SAFM lodged a police report and is looking for eyewitnesses or anyone with information to come forward. If you have any information related to this case, please contact SAFM or police to help identify the perpetrator(s). Your details will be kept confidential.

Last month, a concerned Malaysian shared photos of two puppies at Pets Wonderland (Mid Valley) alleging that they appeared malnourished, which raised questions over the store’s animal welfare practices, as expressed by concerned members of the public. [REFER ➡ to our post on 24 July 2025]

In response to public feedback, Pets Wonderland issued a statement on Instagram, posted a notice in their outlet, and sent a message to MFD, claiming that the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) conducted an inspection and verified that the dogs’ condition scores were within the required standards. [REFER ➡ to our post on 28 July 2025]

However, many people remained concerned about the store’s transparency regarding its animal welfare practices, with comments for Pets Wonderland to stop selling live animals, and to boycott the brand.

On 2 August 2025, Pets Wonderland released a third statement announcing that they will be phasing out the sale of cats and dogs across all of their outlets.

They stated that the transition will begin with their Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur outlet by the end of August, and for full implementation across Malaysia by the end of 2025 or sooner.

💭 Should more pet shops in Malaysia follow the same step to stop selling dogs and cats?
💭 If not, should they be more transparent about their animal care practices with their customers?

We aim to help these beautiful animals find a home and give you a faithful friend in return.
