John Ngong Longar
John Kudusay who started singing in 1990s remains on top in music industry in South Sudan. Kudusay is a tremendous inspiration to many musicians in South Sudan 🇸🇸.
John Kudusay known by his family name John Ngong Longar Mou was born in 1979, 23rd March, in Madhol payam of Aweil East County in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State. He is the first born of his parents. He has 1 brother, Mayar Longar Mou and two sisters, Agok Longar Mou and Athieng Longar Mou. Some of his siblings died when they were young.
John Kudusay started his education in 1990 in Madhol Primary School and later on moved to Majak-Akoon primary school in Wanyjok Town, Headquarters of Aweil East County which was the SPLA/M stronghold in North Bahr El Ghazal State.
John Kudusay sat for his primary 4 leaving examination in 1994 and then got recruited into SPLA/M in 1995 when he was 16 years old.
John Kudusay during his time school and SPLA/M struggle, he sung a lot of mouth-watering songs. His songs inspired and encouraged many youth to join SPLA and became SPLA soldiers to fight for self-determination and vision of New Sudan.
In 1998, after his returned to Aweil from Equatoria where he was then deployed. He resumed his education at Majak-Akoon Primary School in 1999 when primary 8 system was introduced. He sat for his primary 8 leaving certificate in 2003. He emerged one of the top performing students in the county.
He was to sit for his primary leaving certificate in 2002 but he went to Khartoum, Sudan in that year to release his first standard album entitled " Mith Sudan " . All studios were in Northern Sudan because South Sudan was totally lagged behind in development and there was war also in South Sudan 🇸🇸.
John Kudusay married his one and only wife Elizabeth Ajok in 2005 and he is still with his wife. This Elizabeth is the strongest woman behind John Kudusay dominance in music industry. John Kudusay is currently in South Sudan People's Defense Force headquarters, Bilpham in Juba. He is holding rank of Lt. Colonel in SSPDF.
