A bumper fortnight plus diary this time, taking us up to the New Year - the magazine diary is taking a break for the festive season. Seems strange to think that in little more than a fortnight it will all be over for another year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Any new or amended events please let me know at [email protected] (the magazine is committed to covering events in Llanyblodwel as well as Trefonen, in spite of the email address!) by Friday each week, and I will include the event in the next week's diary. Posters welcome too.

The joint benefice service at Llanyblodwel was a joyous and friendly occasion. Acting Archdeacon Jo Farnworth led the communion service, ably assisted by Linda Gladman, and preached on how the Bible can help us 'live God's way'. A joint choir from all four parishes organized by Jenny H***e, Llanyblodwel's organist, led the singing and sang an anthem during communion. Good to see the Benefice working together! Here is this week's diary - don't forget Trefonen's fire festival on Friday 1st November.

Two busy weekends in prospect - please note the Border Benefice joint communion service on Sunday 27th October, at St Michael's Llanyblodwel. There will be a choir to lead us, and the Acting Archdeacon will be with us, too.

A busier week this week, so hopefully everyone can find something they'd enjoy.

Here is this week's diary, using the information already in the Parish and Community Magazine. Not much appears to be happening this week, but there may be events we don't know about! If anyone wants anything else publicised, perhaps something that wasn't organised when we published the magazine, please let us know via the magazine email address: [email protected]. We will then add it to the weekly diary - and post a flyer for it if you send that as a jpeg, please.
